  1. END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR MICROSOFT SOFTWARE

  3. IMPORTANT-READ CAREFULLY: This Microsoft End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is
  4. a legal agreement between you (either an individual or a single entity) and
  5. Microsoft Corporation for the Microsoft software accompanying this EULA, which
  6. includes computer software and associated media and printed materials, and may
  7. include "online" or electronic documentation ("SOFTWARE PRODUCT" or "SOFTWARE").
  8. By opening the sealed packet(s) OR exercising your rights to make and use copies
  9. of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, you agree to be bound by the terms of this EULA. If you
  10. do not agree to the terms of this EULA, promptly return this package to the
  11. place from which you obtained it.

  13. SOFTWARE PRODUCT LICENSE
  14. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws and international copyright
  15. treaties, as well as other intellectual property laws and treaties. The SOFTWARE
  16. PRODUCT is licensed, not sold.

  18. 1. GRANT OF LICENSE. Microsoft grants to you a nonexclusive, royalty-free right
  19. to make and use an unlimited number of copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, provided
  20. that each copy shall be a true and complete copy, including all copyright and
  21. trademark notices. If required in the printed material accompanying the SOFTWARE
  22. PRODUCT, you agree to display the designated patent notices on the packaging and
  23. in the README file of your software product.

  25. 2. COPYRIGHT. All title and copyrights in and to the SOFTWARE PRODUCT (including
  26. but not limited to any images, photographs, animations, video, audio, music,
  27. text, and "applets," incorporated into the SOFTWARE PRODUCT), the accompanying
  28. printed materials, and any copies of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, are owned by
  29. Microsoft or its suppliers. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is protected by copyright laws
  30. and international treaty provisions. Therefore, you must treat the SOFTWARE
  31. PRODUCT like any other copyrighted material except that you may either (a) make
  32. one copy of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT solely for backup or archival purposes, or
  33. (b) install the SOFTWARE PRODUCT on a single computer provided you keep the
  34. original solely for backup or archival purposes.

  36. 3. OTHER RESTRICTIONS. This EULA is your proof of license to exercise the rights
  37. granted herein and must be retained by you. You may not reverse engineer,
  38. decompile, or disassemble the SOFTWARE PRODUCT, except and only to the extent
  39. that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law notwithstanding this
  40. limitation.

  42. LIMITED WARRANTY
  43. NO WARRANTIES. Microsoft expressly disclaims any warranty for the SOFTWARE
  44. PRODUCT. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT and any related documentation is provided "as is"
  45. without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including, without
  46. limitation, the implied warranties or merchantability, fitness for a particular
  47. purpose, or noninfringement. The entire risk arising out of use or performance
  48. of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT remains with you.

  50. NO LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. In no event shall Microsoft or its
  51. suppliers be liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation,
  52. damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business
  53. information, or any other pecuniary loss) arising out of the use of or inabilitY
  54. to use this Microsoft product, even if Microsoft has been advised of the
  55. possibility of such damages. Because some states/jurisdictions do not allow the
  56. exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damages,
  57. the above limitation may not apply to you.

  59. U.S. GOVERNMENT RESTRICTED RIGHTS
  60. The SOFTWARE PRODUCT is provided with RESTRICTED RIGHTS. Use, duplication, or
  61. disclosure by the Government is subject to restrictions as set forth in
  62. subparagraph (c)(1)(ii) of The Rights in Technical Data and Computer Software
  63. clause at DFARS 252.227-7013 or subparagraphs (c)(1) and (2) of the Commercial
  64. Computer Software-Restricted Rights at 48 CFR 52.227-19, as applicable.

  67. MISCELLANEOUS
  68. If you acquired this product in the United States, this EULA is governed by the
  69. laws of the State of Washington.

  71. If this product was acquired outside the United States, then local laws may
  72. apply.
